No Limit was born out of the experiences of a small number of working music industry professionals with over sixty years combined experience in the music industry. For the past few years they have been providing tutored courses to a variety of organisations for young people in Hull and surrounding area.
With youth services being cut and with a higher demand than ever for youth services, No Limit was formally constituted as a Not For Profit organisation in 2011 with its primary goals being to develop and deliver music, arts and technology based activities and services for disadvantaged young people up to the age of 25.
Currently it runs a regular weekly drop in session at Platform 12 where young people can simply drop in as they want to. There are regular tutored DJ and MC courses and for those not so much into their music there is a fully equipped computer suite, pool table, big screen t.v. PS3\xBox on 6 foot screens and free hot\cold drinks and food. There are members of staff on hand to help and advise anyone attending the sessions with things like job searches, CV writing, help with benefits, education etc.
Along with its own activities the project acts as a gateway to many other services and provision for young people provided by Hull City Council - Young Peoples Support Services as well as other public, private and voluntary organisations.
